Baby Shower after fire

Well kids as you know after the baby shower on Saturday we invited several people back to our house to enjoy a fire, hot dogs, soup and S'mores!  This time of year once the sun goes down the temperature drops quickly so if you were not standing by the fire you were most likely cold.  The new fire pit worked great but as usual I struggled to get it going.  We still had the pallet from the bar stool delivery and once I put some of that wood on the fire it lit up like it was paper.  Your mother bought 2 bundles of wood from her work at $5 a piece...so we will be buying a 1/2 cord of wood soon.

 

 

 

Stephanie wasn't feeling well so she ended up going straight home and Jared was installing a new energy efficient front door but everyone else showed up.

 

 

Anyway a fun weekend and most importantly Ryan & Dee had a great time and everyone was very generous.  They received a ton of gifts and a lot of essentials that will give them a great start.
