Sean's Birthday Celebration

Well kids as you know yesterday was Sean's 25th birthday and we celebrated in a big way.  Last week I set up to take Sean to lunch which means Jared is going too.  I guess that's alright since Sean went to Jared's lunch last summer.  We ended up at the Tilted Kilt restaurant in Mathews.  For those of your that haven't been there it is worth the trip except today we had the waitress from hell...well she didn't screw anything up and the food was good but she talked so much that at one point I had to ask her to leave because we had business to discuss...the saying dumber then a box of rocks was invented after someone talked to her.

Anyway a good lunch and usually this place has some great scenic views but the boys didn't think so today...

Our Waitress

From there we all went back to work and then to Sean & Taylor's where Taylor cooked an outstanding pork chop casserole.  The food was excellent as usual and she fixed Pomegranate Martini's for the ladies...I am still in the 8% club so nothing for me.

We brought an ice cream cake and as you can see Vickie & Stephanie started having some extra fun with the blue frosting.

Sean wanted a receiver to hook up some speakers with so we all went in together and Taylor picked out a great one with the help of Lee.  I asked Taylor if that meant she now had to listen to the same music as Lee and paint her Jeep bright green...she firmly replied NO!!

Great company, great food and a fun night!  I hope you had a good day Sean.

  1. Looks like all had a great time. I know waitress like that are even hard to look at - good thing you have "hot" wives waiting for you guys!

  2. Henry, you are failing in your son-in-law duties. How come you NEVER offered to take me to the Tilted-Kilt restaurant? I took my father-in-law to Shepherds Park and also was kind enough to take you there one night. I am hurt and disappointed. I do remember that we were asked to leave Shepherd Park, but can't remember why.

  3. Now that you had a waitress that talks constantly, you know what I have been going through for the past 59 years. By the way, 59 years ago, you mother had a Irish Kilt that looked just like that...at least in my eyes it did !!

  4. He wanted me to sign it but no way. We called with the usual "Hagadorn birthday serenade" , but only got Sean's answering machine. Looks like Sean had a great birthday. Does he celebrate all weekend like Stephanie would?
or month now that I think of it :-)
