Jared had a few issue when he came home with jaundice (yellow colored skin) and had to be put under a lamp for most of the day. We would take turns staying up with him for the first couple weeks. I would go to bed early and get up around 2am with him, then your mother would get up around 7am to take over. Grandma Clark would be the one to stay up late with him till I took over.

We also had to have a nurse come over every day to take his blood. This ended up being the toughest part of the whole thing and most that came couldn't do it. Jared would be screaming your mother would be crying and sometimes they ended up having to take him to the hospital to get the blood work done.
Well everything turned out ok and Jared ended up being perfectly fine!
I remember this well...but what a handsome dude he has grown into. We are so proud of you Jared

One of my memories of Jared was when he was a kid and would sing some song about annoying us and he sang it over and over and over when he would come up. The only way to shut him up was to tickle him! He is a wonderful Jare-Bear!

Was tough trying to appear strong when I was so frightened, too. Don't know how successful I was, but I know we were all so thankful when everything turned out fine. Love you all!
