Coldest NY Trip Ever!!

Well kids this week I went to the northeast for several meetings and as usual I drove because the meetings were in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and 3 different New York locations.  The good news was the trip was event free and I traveled some great roads with some great scenery!

This was after running through a couple rain storms this morning!

Monday Night I was in Paterson, NJ...not much to write about here.  Tuesday night I was in Latham, NY which is right outside Albany, NY.  This is actually the town that we lived in from 1968-1973.  I was a little early and planned on checking stores in town but after about the 5th location the temperature dropped to minus 4 with the wind chill so I called it quits.  I went through our old neighborhood but nothing really changed so I didn't take any pictures.

Wednesday morning I had a meeting in Schenectady and then my afternoon meeting was canceled so I went on to visit your grandparents in Apalachin.  As with Tuesday the temperature was so cold I checked 4 stores and called it quits.

Anyway your grandmother had everyone over Wednesday night for pizza and wings.  I got to see David Jr, Cody and Matt but Joe was working.  Donna, Mike, Sandy and the Knowlton's all showed up.  Not sure what they meant but they sure were thanking me for coming to town because they love getting free food from your grandparents!

Happy 75th Birthday..early...4/13 is the actual date

Dole was leaving Texas Roadhouse as we were going in on Thursday night.  A quick hello and then she was off.

Fun time but way too cold for my blood and I ended up with the sniffles...guess that means I have to lay around on the couch all weekend and watch the events at the Daytona Speedway...damn!  I would invite you guys over but with me being sick and all I don't want to spread it around!

  1. It was great to see you and YES we LOVE when you come in cause Mom makes fudge, buys us all dinner. When you live close you have to invite YOURSELF to Consols and places to get free food (which of course I have no problem doing).

PS: David is NOT a Jr. and hates that, he is David II

  2. It was a fun couple of days. I love it as everyone is here. Not sure Dad agrees totally especially if his beloved races are on and he can't see them :-( , and he has to pick up the bill for it. But even though he won't admit it, he likes it when everyone is here.

  3. I am sick of you taking pictures of the top of my head. You started that when we were at David's 40th party when you took me and John Eden's heads. As your birthday is coming up, I would strongly suggest no more head shots or photo shop and add some hair.

As for picking up the bill, you are still a much much cheaper date than your mother.
