Snow Storms!

Well kids as I am sure you have seen on the news the Northeast had a major blizzard over this past weekend so I thought I would take a few days and show some snow storms from past years.

The one in this POD is one of the first ones we had when we moved into this house in Charlotte.  We don't get a lot of snow here but when we get it we are crippled.  For those of you that don't live here I believe that we only have 1 or 2 snow plows for the entire city of Concord and to be truthful I am not even sure if they are "snow plows" like we see up north.  I think it is just Bank's pick-up truck with a plow attached!!

So if they call for snow, they usually cancel everything the day before and if we do get snow you are usually stuck in your house because they never plow the neighborhoods or the streets that lead to them.  We usually live by the following rule...if you can't clear your driveway with the leaf blower then you need to stay home!  As a matter of fact most people in the south (including us) don't even own a shovel and if someone does have a shovel they are most likely transplants for the north!

  1. We wouldn't even call that "real" snow. Unless you are Dad, no-one even bothers shoveling until we get at least 2 inches!!
