Well kids as I said early we had decided that we would go out every night for dinner. As you will see we visited some really cool restaurants in the area and ate some great food.
Another tradition that we had was when we left on Saturday to go back home we would always go to Ella's to eat lunch. Ella's is located in Calabash just north of Myrtle Beach. We found out about Ella's from your Grandparents Hagadorn who found out about it from their friends the Myetts. When we first went it was a small restaurant but then they expanded to the size below.
Now I love Ella's and consider it one of my favorite restaurants in the United States but every year it became a battle with your mother. As you know sometimes I can get a little anal about things and especially about schedules and timing. In my mind when your vacation is over and it is time to travel home I am all about packing up and going...or as your mother would say...a big pain in her ass! So the problem is Ella's didn't open till 11am and I was packed and ready at 9am so while I would insist that we would just skip this year your mother would always said absolutely not...then the battle would begin...now that I look back on it I am glad she won that battle each year! BTW if we get close to Ella's we still go to this day and last year when Taylor invited us to her beach house we went. Ella's is a defiant Bucket List item!

Ella's definitely a must to go to. Glad Myette's showed us how to enjoy eating at the beach. We don't go to MB much anymore but when we do, we agree a must place to eat at. Great pictures. Hope everyone is enjoying all these memories you made.
