We quickly became friends and hung out together quite a bit. When we got out of college Kyle, Blaine and I all ended up in Maryland. Soon afterwards we decided to move in together and we rented a townhouse in Rockville, MD. If you think you are poor now I can tell you that each of us were only making about $12,000 a year back then and when we moved into the townhouse I had all my belongings packed into my Chevette, Kyle had all his packed into a VW Rabbit and Blaine had all of his packed into his parents old station wagon! We had no beds, no place to sit...no nothing. The owners of the place had left some old outdoor wooden chairs but we had a party the first night there and we got cold so we started a fire in the fire place...you guessed it there went the wooden chairs...I am starting to see a pattern here but yes alcohol was involved!
Luckily Kyle ran across a garage sale and bought furniture and his bedroom set then Blaine and I bought water beds. We never did put anything in the living room or dining room. We had a lot of fun there but we only stayed for about a year. One day I will have to remember to tell you about the day I taught Blaine how to drive a stick shift! Anyway by then I had met your mother and you know the rest of that story.
The night before our wedding
Over the years we kept up with each other mostly through phone calls...he was a lot better then me...and the occasional visit. Blaine went back to college and met a lady named Darian and they eventual got married. They moved to Richmond, VA right after we moved out of Richmond and they have been there ever since. On the way back from a business trip in October we hooked up for lunch & a short visit. As I was telling him about you kids I mentioned how Jared had just bought a pool table and was thrilled. He said that he wished he had known because he had one that he wanted to sell. I quickly said that Sean wanted one and he said great. We settled on a date which was this past Saturday and the rest you will hear about tomorrow.
Hear are some pictures from the trip

Hi Blaine!! So glad you and Henry had a chance to have some bonding time. Great memories of the past 30+ years!! The backyard looks very comfortable and relaxing...looks like a lot of blood, sweat & tears went into it! Missed seeing you! ~Barbara
