RIP Dennis Adams

Well kids I really struggled on if I should do this posting but Dennis has been on our minds so I thought I would do it so we can remember some of the good times. 

As you know Sean had some great friends when we lived in Rocky Mount but there were a few that were always by his side...Dennis, Robby, Thomas, Trey and Jared.  As with all parents when kids are this young you also build relationships with their parents and Dennis's parents Pat and Rick were no different. 

Sean, Dennis and the gang were fortunate enough to do a ton together for 4 or 5 years until we moved to Charlotte.  Birthday celebrations, school functions and many sports activities.  Dennis's family had a place at Lake Gaston and Sean was invited many times to ski, swim and enjoy the water. 

Unfortunately on Father's Day (and his parents 28th anniversary) Dennis had a wake boarding accident at the lake.  While we don't know all the details what we have heard is that he told his friends he was fine but he went to bed that night and never woke up.

This is why we hug when we see each other and I say spending time together is way better then a gift.
