Well kids since the start date was moved up the contractor had to scramble because our home owners association hadn't approved the project yet. We agreed to the contract on a Thursday night and he wanted to start the next Monday. I gave him all the people that he had to send it to on the HOA and then I talked to neighbor Ron who is on the committee to see if he could help push the job through. They ask that you give them 30 days but with Ron's help we had it approved in the same day which was Monday.
The crew got started on Tuesday with the tear down.
When they took the deck down there were a bunch a beer cans the boys left under there...empty!!!
Funny you posted a picture of the beer cans because the first thing I thought of was...wonder how many beer cans were hanging out under the deck. Glad to see that I wasn't wrong in my thinking. Of course they were empty...wouldn't want to waste beer!

If it had been our deck that was torn out when the girls (your wife being one of them) were younger, there would have been empty Southern Comfort bottles there. I never did find out where they hid those bottles since they disappeared so fast. See if Barbara remembers what I am talking about. LOL
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finished product...really liked what we saw when we were there. Now you need the pool :-)
