Vacation in Gatlinburg-Everything else

Well kids there were a few other things that we did this week that I just grouped together in today's blog.

After the rafting trip we took a ride on the blue ridge parkway again and stopped at a picnic area to eat.

 

 

 

One day we headed to a place called Cades Cove which is a huge park that you can hike, horseback ride or our personal favorite...drive a car on an 11 mile path that shows you the sites from your nice air conditioned car!  It was actually a nice ride where we saw tons of deer, some old houses from the settlement days and several pull off spots where you kids could explore rock climbing and other adventures.

Well it was a tough week with lots of activities and I think this picture describes how all of us felt by the end!  We did leave here on Friday morning and headed straight to the lake for some relaxing time!
