In case you forgot I will fill you in on the details...you go to this place on the river and sign in along with paying for the rafting trip. Then you have to help load up the rafts on an old school bus...yup on the roof! After that they loaded us up and up the river we went...did I mention that we were on an OLD SCHOOL BUS? The road was steep and curvy but the guides had us signing nursery rhymes to keep our mind off the danger.
At the top of the river they gave us the safety course then we loaded the boats in the river and away we went. We had a great guide and in case you forgot his name was George. George was certainly the prankster of the company and would jump off our boat swim up to another boat and drag someone in when they weren't expecting it...he also pushed Stephanie overboard!
Anyway it was a great trip and we were certainly wore out at the end.

Ok well maybe there wasn't a school bus and maybe they did put them on the van...but my story sounds so much better!!
Getting ready to head down to the rapids
Jared & Sean in the back, Mom in front of Jared, Ryan and me in the very front...Stephanie on the back with George
Stephanie after George pushed her in the water
Sean cooling off
We bought an underwater camera and there were still some shots left so Sean and Jared wanted to see if it really worked...not a very good shot of their faces but it worked I guess!
Great fun and certainly should be on your bucket list if you have never been rafting!
I remember how much fun you all had on that trip. Not on MY bucket list so I will take your word for it. Again, great pictures and great memories.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your PG rated trips with the kids and your imagination. Look forward to more recent trips with Kyle & Gail down to the Islands and want to see what they are rated. Make sure you have a lot of candid photos.
ReplyDeleteWho was sitting behind Ryan in the raft?
